Am I Irish? By decent, yes. Am I a pirate? Literally, no – Romantically, yes. I find Hollywood’s interpretation of pirates embodies the essence of absolute freedom – rules don’t apply, moderation is not applied to any aspect of life, and style is more of a suggestion. This is not to say that I drive recklessly, breaking windows while imbibing bottles of rum wearing nothing but a brasserie.  I use the term loosely, in the proverbial sense.

So, what does the proverbial pirate do with herself in this crazy world? In a world full of emotional, educational, and occupational hazards, every day is a new challenge and a new adventure.  Who knows? There might even be photographic evidence of the shenanigans I get up to…
